Website analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are read, where visits are referred from, and broad technical information such as country and device category. The analytics setup does not place cookies, build advertising profiles, or identify you by name. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, whose infrastructure may process ordinary request and security logs.

Email updates

When email subscriptions are available, subscribing will send your email address, consent record, signup time, and a short placement label such as “article end” to MailerLite. MailerLite will process that information on behalf of Spatium Novum to confirm your subscription, deliver essays, manage unsubscribes, and measure link clicks. Open-pixel tracking will be disabled.

The legal basis for newsletter email is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link in every message. Your subscriber record is kept while you remain subscribed; after unsubscribing, only the minimum suppression record needed to avoid mailing you again may be retained.

Messages and sharing

If you email, reply to a newsletter, or otherwise contact Spatium Novum, the message and address are used to answer you and maintain the correspondence. Reader data is not sold, rented, used for ad targeting, or added to unrelated mailing lists.

Your choices

You may ask what personal data is held about you, request correction or deletion, or withdraw consent by emailing the address above. You may also complain to the data-protection authority that applies where you live.

Service providers

The services relevant to this notice are Cloudflare, GitHub, and, once subscriptions launch, MailerLite. MailerLite states that subscriber data for its current platform is stored in the European Union. These providers may use infrastructure and subprocessors in other countries under their own legal safeguards.

This notice will be updated if the site begins collecting materially different information.
